This porcelain bowl is one of my favourites!It is gorgeous and still very functional for dishwasher, microwave, and/oven. The copper in the glaze gives the burgundy hue and the high temperature firing in a gas kiln gives the burgundy its rich depth.

This open baker can be used for so many scrumptious salads or casseroles, or simply a catch-all for letters, etc. In the kitchen, it is friendly to microwave, dishwasher, oven, freezer. The white porcelain shows the brightness of the Copper Red glaze. As mentioned before, the copper in the glaze creates the burgundy hue, and the high-firing in the gas reduction kiln gives the burgundy its rich depth of colour.
